Paris Plage turns the banks of the Seine River into beachfront. This urban celebration takes place from the 20th of July to the 4th of September 2016
Paris Plage (French for beach) is sponsored by the mayor or Paris since 2002....and has grown to include more concerts, more restaurants on moored boats and more fun experiences each year.
Each year, between July and beginning of September you will see 3,5 km occupied by this summer attraction on the right bank of the Seine as well as quayside at the Bassin de la Villette.
For those that planing a visit to Paris and realize that the weather is really nice, sunbathing is an option. There are many locations where you can enjoy the seine view.
